Trend: Generation G wants to share & collaborate

More and more people are fed up with greediness, irresponsible and careless behavior. Instead, they’re longing for empathetic companies and institutions that care. Trendwatching, which is famous for accurately spotting the latest trends, presents Generation Generosity.

Contrary to the climate of fear which the Bush administration has spread around the world, Generation G according to Trendwatching is all about “passionate, empowered individuals (if not entire generations) being more willing and able to give, to share, to collaborate; to be more ‘generous’ in many ways. Which in turn has made generosity one of a new set of status symbols.”

Generation G craves for companies that authentically care and integrate social responsibility & sustainability in their core business strategy.

Do you recognize this trend? How does your company collaborate & share to emphasize generosity? Please share!
